■Synopsis■
As a newbie photojournalist, the glittering world of the rich and famous seems impossibly out of reach, but all that is about to change. Not even one day into your job, you suddenly find yourself rubbing shoulders with the crème de la crème of the celebrity world alongside the very hands-on CEO of your agency. Knowing who is trying to butter you up and who genuinely holds your best interests at heart could be the difference between rising to the top or being savaged in the latest news cycle.
When you uncover shady dealings that make even your dogged boss think twice about sinking his teeth into your latest scoop, the glossy facade you’ve seen plastered all over the magazine stands starts to lose its luster. Thrown into a dog-eat-dog world, will you be able to distinguish the wolves from the lambs?
■Characters■
Darren — The Suave Playboy
With money, fame, and legions of adoring fans, Darren has it all. You certainly can’t imagine him wanting anything else in life, but there may be more to this self-made star than his cool persona would suggest. When the cameras stop rolling and you find yourself alone together, it might just lead to the biggest scoop of your career or an opportunity for something even more rewarding if you’re able to withstand the blowback. Will you give him the genuine adoration he so craves?
August — The Unapologetic Actor
August is never one to shy away from a challenge, especially when it comes to his lifelong quest to unmask those celebrities he regards as being phony. Impressed by your candor, he proves to be a staunch advocate for realizing your full potential, which includes splashing his cash around and pulling strings with industry connections. For all his bluster about rattling cages, you can tell his true motives are more heartfelt. With fakes all around, will you trust him not to let you fall?
Rico — Your Tenacious Boss
A seasoned veteran when it comes to the cut-throat world of celebrity journalism, Rico is deeply passionate about what he does, even if it means he sometimes gets too caught up in chasing a burning lead. Not one to be fooled by designer clothing, luxury goods, or the other trappings of the celebrity world, your quiet confidence and determination are what catches his eye, earning you his respect. Will you embrace him as your mentor, or surrender to the glitz and glamor?
